I am a mama raising 5 beautiful humans on a small family-owned farm with my supportive husband. I have a degree in education and have spent many years teaching both in public school and online. I have a dream of starting my own school that brings back community-style learning. Elderberry Syrup Mamas allows me to bring two pieces of my life together – my love of teaching and education and my dream of community. I have a passion for inspiring and providing wellness for others, and I can’t wait to share that with you through our products here at Elderberry Syrup Mamas!
Beautiful elderberry mama and her family.
Jen and her husband, Hal create each piece from a combination of salvaged and new materials.
This collaboration was born from a desire to be mindfully creative turning discarded materials into useful and lasting pieces.
They also support adoptions through their program called KIN. Let us know if you would like to learn more.
Jen hand picked her materials from a selection of fine leather, which came from discontinued fabric lines in High Point, NC. She works directly with our design team to create this custom line designed specifically for the Agapé Market's friends and family (you!).
It all started because she needed art on her walls...Carrie Richardson Fry, an environmental engineer and self-proclaimed sucker for fun colors, began updating her home decor and sought opportunities to commemorate things and places that were meaningful to her like her home state of Oklahoma, North Carolina where she met her husband and started her family, witty quotes, her love of beer, the city of Durham & the number 17. That starting place quickly developed into more, and cr2f (a play on her initials) was born.
Betsy doesn’t remember a time in her life she wasn’t making something. The need to create is at the heart of who she is. She works predominantly in pottery and mixed media. Hand-building is her preferred pottery process and many of her pieces are animal-themed - usually done in stoneware. She also creates a line of happy faces, sometimes suns or moons, for home and garden decorating. For her, the only viable rules are the ones that have to do with safety – otherwise, it’s all about seeing where the clay takes her. She considers her work to be most successful when it causes smiles or giggles, since her goal is to lighten moods through the pieces she makes. She and her husband are grateful to be living in wonderful Wilmington!
Here are just a couple of guys living by the beach in southern North Carolina, making deodorant. Todd Platzer discovered the formula for ZERO Deodorant while testing the effects of ozone infused gels and moisturizers on the skin. What he discovered was the profound odor eliminating power of ozone in what is now the ZERO formula of Shea butter and beeswax. The only all natural deodorant that is so effective we can guarantee it will work for you.
